How to increase your Internet Speed

Test your internet speed.

To dramatically increase your Internet Speed, all you need to do is the following:

1.- open a command prompt (search cmd) and open as administrator
copy and paste these commands and press enter, one by one:

ipconfig /flushdns
cd/
netsh int tcp show global
netsh int tcp set global chimney=enabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp
netsh int tcp set global dca=enabled
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=enabled
netsh int tcp set global timestamps=disabled
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
endlocal

If you can´t change congestionprovider=ctcp, don´t worry, do the following:

run this file and add it to the registry

restart

then open a command prompt (search cmd) as administrator and use this command:
set supplemental congestionprovider=ctcp
then finally run this command: netsh interface tcp show global

test your internet speed again at the widget

optional

2.- You can download Internet Helper

3.- Another option,, you can download Namebench,

Namebench gives you the best DNS according to your location, just downlad it, and start benchmark,
wait like 15 minutes until it finds the best DNS,
copy it, go to Open network and sharing center,
click your connection (ethernet or wifi),
properties, internet protocol version 4, double click it, and check,
use the following DNS server address (and copy the one namebench gave you),

Do not listen to videos that tell you that the best dns is the one from google, or from open dns,
because they are not, that depends on the location where you are

4.- Search gpedit.msc
if an error appear, you have to install gpedit.msc

If you have Windows 7 x64, 8 or 8.1:
You must go to the SysWOW64 folder and copy the GroupPolicy, GroupPolicyUsers folder and the gpedit.msc file into the System32 folder.
they are in c:windows (SysWOW64 and System32 folders)

run gpedit.msc
go to administrative templates, then network, then QoS packet scheduler, and then double click on
"limit reservable bandwith", enable it, and set it on "0".

go also to administrative templates, windows components, skydrive, and double click and enable the three of them (this will help preventing skydrive synchronize all the time, and use internet resources).

5.- Finally, with your PC off,  unplug your modem, take off the battery, wait a minute, and then reconnect. Make sure the ethernet cable isnt too long, and the wireless antena is pointing up.

6.- This is  think the best way, the fastest and most secure method of all:

to register it, download the dll file
Install the program, and close it completely. Go to the task bar and right click it, and exit.
Now, go to its shortcut at the desktop, or to the program in your start menu, and right click it, and go to "open file location", and there you are going to copy the dll you downloaded before, and replace the original, and finally, register the program with any serial given, click on the right down corner, and register.

This program will be useful for you in many ways. Right now, lets go to "all tools", then "o s management", and launch "internet optimizer", and here, you will choose your option, depending on your result of your internet speed you take at the widget in this page, and you will know, and after that, you are going to click, analyze, then optimize, and reboot.
This save us so many time, and you know that this optimization was perfect for your computer.

THE DNS Server Isn´t Responding,

We really freak out for a moment, looking in our phone for answer. Well, you come to the perfect place.

Go and right click on the task bar icon of the internet, and select, "open network and sharing center".

Go to the left and select "change adapter settings", and there, you are going to disable the connection you are using, you right click it, and disable it. (Its gonna take like five minutes to disable, don't worry).

Once disabled, right click it and enable it again, and as you can see, you have internet again!

If you still don't have internet, go to command prompt, as administrator, and we are going to write this:
ip config / all
and we are gonna search for "physical address", and we are going to copy the number of physical addres, Copy is exactly, in capital letters, but without the dashes, for example, in my case, it is BC7737724CCC

Lets open again "open network and sharing center"go to your connection, could be ethernet or wifi, open properties, and go to configure, go to advanced tab, look up for network address, and check "value", and copy your physical address number, click ok, close, and restart, and you will have internet again.

As a last resource, unplug your modem, take off the battery, and wait one minute, and re connect, and there you go, you will be ok.
